Free "Learn-to-Play" Clinic will be offered at the back fields at East Coweta High School
9:00 to 10:00am
No equipment needed!
The clinic is open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 8. The basic fundamental skills of throwing, catching, scooping ground-balls, cradling and shooting will be taught. This clinic provides a great introduction to the sport and allows potential players the opportunity to see if they would enjoy playing this fall.
This winter clinic is designed for players who are looking to work on their skills before the start of the spring season. We will focus on developing each player’s individual skills as well as their general understanding of the game. Beginners will learn how to properly execute sound fundamentals, such as overhand catching, throwing, ground balls and dodging. Advanced players will be taught individual skills as well as on-field decision-making and team concepts. Copperhead's Women’s Coach, Laura Gibson will hold 2 sessions in January.
Session one: January 7, 8, 14 and 15 - Cancelled
Session two: January 17, 19, 24 and 26
Time: 4:30pm
Cost: $65 per session
Location: East Coweta High School
